Montreux:
Well-known international boarding school for 75 girls ages 14 to 25 located above Montreux, and facing Lake Geneva. Students may register for 1 academic year (1 or 2 terms) or during the summer for 3 week sessions from mid-June to the end of August. Accommodations are in comfortable rooms with 2 or 3 beds (single rooms are available at extra cost) with shower, toilet, telephone and TV. Courses combine morning intensive language studies (18 hours per week in French, English or German) , and an additional 5 hours of a second language in the afternoon. Also, various optional courses (Ceramics, Design/Painting, Photography, History of Art, Cookery, etc.), and hourly private lessons (Piano, Horseback Riding, Tennis, etc.) are available for extra fees. Last, the Women's College at the school offers a 3 year Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in English.
