The Institute offers French language sessions for teens and young adults ages 15 to 20, and courses (all levels) and afternoon sports/cultural activities and weekend excursions. The program's provides two accommodation options : a) at its own modern student residence (double rooms with private bathrooms) as well as with local families with full board. activities and excursions are integral part of each session (minimum two
weeks in duration). Student groups of up to 10 students are welcome. Family
stays are available for interested students. The Val Morin camp in on 590 acres of wood, with private lake, a recreational/sports park which includes indoor/outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts and other sports facilities. The Saint Lucie camp is 30 minutes from Val Morin. The camp's location is favorable to camping, rock climbing, bivouacking, canoeing and various water sports. campers are housed in gargantuan tepees, each accommodating close to 20 students. All meals are taken in an enclosed pergola complete with kitchen and eating facilities. b) Year round academic programs (boarding school for 13-18 year olds) French and/or English intensive language instruction with sports, cultural activities and excursions. States California, Michigan, Vermont and Washington D.C. : Summer residential pre-College Enrichment Programs for High School students in the US and from other countries (grades 9 to 12 or equivalent). The programs are in various fields and are offered for credit and non-credit : English as a Second Language; Music; Architecture; Dance; Crime Scene Investigation; Film, Writing for Theater/Acting, etc.). In addition, the program offers SAT Preparation courses; Sports Activities (Golf, Tennis, Basketball, Swimming, etc.) and courses in the Social and Natural Sciences. Programs are three to six weeks in duration, and are supervised by resident counselors. | French: | Switzerland Flims-Laax: Junior and Teen coed Summer (July and August) residential program for young people ages 7 to 16. Program offers high standards, sports activities,(5 levels), English (5 levels),Spanish (2 levels) and German (2 levels) classes. Excursions (2 day excursions), afternoon activities with various sports including water-sports, hiking, horseback riding, tennis, soccer, golf, etc., optional Summer skiing + snowboarding in Zermatt. Day camp option is also available for children and teens ages 6 to 16. Montreux : Well-known international boarding school for 75 girls ages 14 to 25 located above Montreux, and facing Lake Geneva. Students may register for 1 academic year (1 or 2 terms) or during the summer for 3 week sessions from mid-June to the end of August. China Beijing and Qingdao : Two, three week summer sessions in Chinese language and Culture for 16 to 19 year olds offered on the following dates : July 2-22 and July 23 to August 5th, 2006 . Each program session includes 30 hours of Mandarin Chinese language and culture; cultural tours; 6 nights accommodation and meals in Beijing and 14 nights accommodation and meals in Qingdao on the Ocean University campus and transfers between the two cities.
