Martinique

The Language Center of the Martinique Chamber of Commerce offers French language courses year-round for organized groups and individuals. Individual courses are divided in two categories: a) students work independently with use of a computer, etc. in the school's Multimedia Center. French language assignment(s) suitable to a student's level are made by a professional and qualified instructor whose role also is to help the student with any aspects of the lessons, and b) private one-on-one instruction (cours particuliers) involving grammar and conversational French. Each level of instruction is on an hourly basis at a cost of 9.45 Euros for (a) and 55 Euros for (b).

The Language Center will help students find appropriate accommodations in hotel, studios and through Martinique 's "Gites de France" which makes available more than 300 apartments and homestays throughout the island. Accommodation prices will be provided upon request. Since accommodations may not be close to the location of the Language Center, students are advised to rent a car during their stay in Martinique which can also be used to visit the island's attractions and gain access to Martinique 's beautiful beaches. The Language Center is expected to move to a new, modern facility later on this year which will be located just north of Fort de France. Additional information on this matter will be provided to you as soon as the new facility opens for business.
