Beijing, and other locations : Internships in Beijing and other locations in China, six weeks in length. Trainees will work, in a selected company 25-30 hours per week. Host companies include hotels, and hospitality firms, multinational manufacturers, media or advertising companies, etc. etc. . Orientation and additional training for interns is provided by a special school before the internship. Please contact us for additional information and program fees

Besides internships, the Center which is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, also will custom-tailor program(s) with Business courses, flexible training programs in Bejing and visits/field trips to Chinese companies. Additionally, the school makes available family stays whether or not the student(s) enroll(s) at the school.

France:

Paris, Nice, Bordeaux, Angouleme, Marseille and Lyon : Internships to suit the student training, experience and interests are available only to students who are over 18 and enrolled at a University in their home country. Internships are paid or unpaid from 1 month to 6 months. Students are required to have liability and medical insurance. At the end of the internship, students receive a certificate from the company. Last, students may be required to enroll in a French language course to improve proficiency in French. Sample fields: industry, tourism, hotels and restaurants, business, law, real estate, museums/theaters, and etc.

Montpellier : The Institut Mediterraneen de Langues Services (IMLS) combines year-round French language instruction at the University of Montpellier and/or courses (program) in International Business Management taught in English at the Montpellier International School of Management for all students.

The French language and Business Management programs can be combined with the following options : a) Volunteer Community Service in various social service organizations, b) internships in local businesses and c) practical courses in French Cooking/Cuisine. Montpellier is a historical city famous for its university, one of the oldest in Europe. The city is located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and a stone's throw from Provence and Spainard, a center of cultural life (international dance and music festivals).

Italy:

Florence and Milan : Non-salaried two to four month internships for students in various fields ; Tourism; Restaurants/Bakeries; Sales; Textile (Clothes Manufacturing and Dressmaking Workshop); Leather Industry; Arts and Crafts; restoration; Design and Photography studios and theatre and other fields. There is an internship placement fee requirement.

Florence : 14 week internship in the following categories: Cooking; Culinary Arts; Baking and Pastry; Wine Expertise and Restaurant Management. Internship will be combined with an Italian language course since experience requires at least an intermediate knowledge of the language.

Madrid and possibly other cities in Spain : Year-round program involving four weeks of Intensive Spanish or Business/Legal Spanish and eight to ten week internship in the student’s field of interest.

Marbella/Madrid : Year-round non-salaried Internship program. Students must enroll in a twelve week Intensive Spanish for Business course to qualify for the internship.

Valencia : Our school offers the possibility to enroll in a Spanish language course in Valencia together with a complete program of internships lasting two to four months in companies in or near Valencia.

The internship candidates must be 18 years of age or older; have a minumum of two years of university/college studies; have health insurance coverage for the duration of his/her stay in Spain; be a native speaker of English or have an advanced knowledge of the language and have an Intermediate level of Spanish since their work experience will require language fluency in fields such as computing, tourism, marketing, international customer relations, translation, and fine arts, among others.
 

Guanajuato : Minimum four week Volunteer Program which is open year-round which begins the first Monday of each month. The program includes 25 hours of intensive Spanish language instruction and a volunteer assignment (4 to 8 hours daily) in one of several public agencies in Guanajuato (located near the City of Leon).
