| Aix-en-Provence
: French language and “Cuisine Provencale” and “Provence
Gastronomique.” Minimum two week stays for students 17 years
of age and older. Cuisine/Gastronomy courses offered during
specific weeks. Various accommodation options available.
Paris
: French language and Cooking courses offered year- round
at the Ecole de Gastronomie of the Ritz Escoffier and “en
famille” in a Parisian apartment close to the Eiffel Tower.
Cooking courses must be taken with French language.
Rouen
: French language and Gastronomy/Cuisine offered year
round. One week sessions offered any Monday by the Institute
Culinaire de Normandie. Minimum 5 students (age 16 and over)
per class. Family stays available. Courses in Boulangerie
(Bread Baking) and Cakes/Gateaux (Patisserie) may be offered
by the Institute Culinaire de la Boulangerie et Patisserie.
Salon de Provence : Short-term Cooking courses
(3 to 4 day programs) offered from March to May and October
to November for small groups (3 or more students). The courses
take place in a restored 12th century abbey which also serves
as a hotel with a/c rooms in a lovely setting. The school
is close to Aix-en-Provence.
Toulouse
: Week-long Cooking programs from July to September. Classes
are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm five days a week. Focus is on
various cuisines including “traditionelle Provencale, Gasconne
et nouvelle cuisine.” School is open year-round.
